I’ve always been fascinated by how people learn. Early in my career as a clinical audiologist, I found joy in helping patients and families understand complex medical information—translating technical terms into clear, meaningful guidance. That love for clarity grew even stronger as I earned my Ph.D. in Hearing and Speech Sciences and stepped into the role of university professor and researcher. Working with graduate students and authoring scientific papers taught me that the right explanation can transform confusion into understanding.

It was during those years in academia that I discovered my passion for making complex topics clear and attainable—a skill that would later drive my work as an instructional designer. Today, I use evidence-based design models like ADDIE and SAM to create engaging, learner-focused content that empowers people to grasp even the most challenging concepts. I leverage tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Well Said Labs, Chat-GPT, Synthesia, Hygen, and Sonix-AI to bring those experiences to life—interactive, practical, and impactful.

My favorite part of instructional design is that moment when clarity breaks through—when learners engage with thoughtfully designed content and walk away not just understanding, but confident and equipped. I’m always eager to collaborate on projects that inspire growth and drive meaningful change.
